Dear
I just wanted to take a moment to send you a note to thank you for your tireless and devoted efforts in our Church Nursery.
Without a doubt, we often get so busy in all of our ministries, we don't take the time to just appreciate what others are doing, yet I know the ministry you are involved with is of vital importance to the overall effectiveness of our church here in this community.
Perhaps there are times when it seems like your ministry is so "behind the scenes" that it doesn't matter as much as "other" ministries. Well, I believe with all my heart that where we function in the body of Christ is fulfilling beyond anything we ever dreamed, especially when we are in the center of the will of God.
I like the words of the Psalmist when he said in Psalms 84:10 (NIV)
10 Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
Well, you may not be a "doorkeeper" in the physical sense, but you are definitely in a ministry where the spiritual doors of little hearts can begin to sense the precious moving of the Holy Spirit through the love shown by people like you.
Here's something I thought you might enjoy... Sign in the church nursery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:51)
Again, thank you! If there is anything I can do to make your job easier please don't hesitate to ask.
Blessings in Christ,
Pastor John Doe
