Requirements
There are very few requirements for starting and running your MemberstarTM membership website.
Since everything is web based, runs on our dedicated server, and web hosting is included, there is nothing for you to install.
Domain Name: You can start building your membeship site without a domain
name, but before your site is "public" you will be required to register your own domain name. There are many places to register, but one of my favorites is: http://www.000domains.com/
Payment Options: We designed MemberstarTM to give you several payment
options.
MemberstarTM integrates with Paypal and several leading merchant services
so you have the option of how you want to take payments from your
members, via PayPal, your own merchant account, or both!
If you don't want to use PayPal, we'll even help you get set up with one of our merchant account providers so you don't have to depend on a 3rd party payment processor. Many of these services have cumbersome rules and high charges. Note: you will still need to apply and be accepted for the merchant account. However there are no up front fees to apply and 95% are accepted.
We have arranged with an Authorize.net representative to set up our clients with an Authorize net merchant account without any set up fees. 95% who apply for a merchant account through our Authorize.net representative are approved.
Internet Browsers: Although our software works with most major browsers, to avoid potential problems we suggest you use one of the later versions of Internet Explorer since it has become the standard browser used by almost 90% of internet users.
